Our History

  • Founded in 1945 by Samuel David Leverson Savory Simpson
  • Simpson’s Memorial Limited was initially a part of an eight chain funeral organization.
  • On the passing of Samuel David Leverson Savory Simpson, ownership and management passed onto his son, Samuel David Simpson
  • In 2004 the Laventille branch of Simpson’s Funeral Home Limited rebranded itself into Simpson’s Memorial Limited (SML).
